It's snowing.....damn it!

Last night on my cycle home from the office it started to snow. Not much mind and only enough to be miserable. This morning was significantly colder, but dry so I decided to ride home again.

As I left the office it was -1°C and had just started to spit. By the time I was out of the city I was enveloped in steady freezing rain which froze solid on my clothes, bike and beard! The rain eased momentarily and when I reached Rheinfelden it had started snowing properly.

By the time I made it to home there was a fair bit of the stuff on the road. My brakes and gears were frozen but fortunately I was toasty warm (except for the ice in my hair) and had managed to stay upright. Also discovered that wearing contact lenses prevents your eyes from getting stung by the snow. Cool ;-))

We are expecting a proper dumping of snow tomorrow so the bike and car can stay at home. I'll go on public which still runs on time here after a few feet of snow. Besides Swiss Boss has asked me to meet him for dinner after work to discuss my future. Should I be worried? I feel some more negotiations coming.......
