January Shorts

I'm trying to remember the last time I cycled in January wearing only shorts (on my legs -of course). Apart from the odd cyclo-cross, I really can't think of such an occurrence. Don't get me wrong, I haven't travelled off to some far flung corner of the planet. I'm not sitting on a beach either! I rode home from the office tonight and stayed warm in my shorts. It should be minus something this time of the year..........

Even better, tonight my monthly issue of Evo magazine had arrived in the postbox. This month there is a great feature on how they created the Aston Martin crash in the recent Bond movie. If you haven't seen Casino Royale you should. Personally I recommend that you watch it in Basel so that you can experience the nervous laughter from the ex-pat's when the joke Swiss banker (from Basel) turns up. Being a Basler he didn't bring Bond any chocolates........or a cuckoo clock for that matter. He probably gave bond some Leckerli.

I wonder if David Beckham has a Swiss bank account? He should do now that he is earning $1million a week in LA. Apparently it's not about the money. I can agree with that ;-))
